Dual-threat soft armour

Stab and ballistic protection in a low-profile vest.

A flexible armour system combining UDPE and aramid composite layers for selected handgun and edged-weapon threats, subject to the specified configuration and test conditions.

Final protection, fit and coverage depend on the complete vest configuration, size and applicable test conditions.

One wearable system

Designed for two distinct protection roles.

The soft panel is intended to combine ballistic and stab resistance while maintaining a slim profile. Performance claims apply only to the tested materials, construction and conditions.

01

Ballistic protection

Product documentation states NIJ 0101.06 Level IIIA protection for handgun threats including 9 mm FMJ and .44 Magnum.

02

Stab resistance

A supplied laboratory report records NIJ 0115.00 Level 1 testing at the 24 J energy level using P1 and S1 blade threats.

03

Low-profile construction

The supplied thickness measurement records 6.81 mm for the soft panel, supporting a flexible and concealable format.

Composite construction

UDPE and aramid fibre in a flexible soft panel.

The product specification identifies a composite of UDPE and aramid fibre with an areal density of 1.30 lb/ft², approximately 6.35 kg/m². The panel is enclosed in a durable, water-resistant protective cover.

  • Soft armour panel for wearable vest integration
  • Composite UDPE and aramid fibre construction
  • Low-profile thickness below 7.0 mm
  • Stated service period of seven years under standard storage and usage conditions

Supplied test evidence

24 J Level 1 stab-resistance test.

Oregon Ballistic Laboratories report 38838 records testing on 24 February 2025 for sample model DV25631. Recorded results include penetration below 1 mm or no penetration for the listed P1 and S1 impacts at 0° and 45°.
